The mission of K.O.D.A. is to reach children in at risk native 

communities through mentorship, physical activity, and of 

course, a love of baseball. Through this program, we 

aim to instill self-confidence in those involved in K.O.D.A. 

and encourage them to set and achieve concrete goals and participate in activities that inspire hope of a better future.

National's righty Koda Glover, member of the Cherokee tribe,

 hails from Monroe, Oklahoma. Understanding first hand the challenges children in native communities face, he has dedicated himself to the empowerment and encouragement of those he works with through the KODA program. Now a Nike N7 athlete, he works to use this platform to raise awareness for the issues K.O.D.A. tackles and build a program that will one day work with and empower thousands of children of Indigenous ancestry.
